We are in Esteli, Nicaragua!!
My team, En Fuego, is spending this month helping Hilltop Ministries.
We are holding children’s programs, children’s feedings, youth groups, women’s Bible studies, and anything else we are needed to do.
We are staying in a house that is just there for us. It is a dirt/concrete structure with a tin roof. There are four rooms in the house. A main room where the landlord parks his car overnight- so it doesn’t have to be out on the street where a person could break in. Two bedrooms- one of which does not flood when it rains- and it rains a lot… it’s the rainy season… a couple of hours to all day everyday. lol. We have some matresses on the floor in the spaces that don’t flood. The last room is the kitchen. We have two plastic tables and one wood table with two countertop burners on it that we use to make our food. There is a cooler that serves as our refridgerator.
We are all super amazed that we are in month 10 of our 11n11 Race! It’s crazy!
Time is closing in on us- and we are going to make it ALL count!!
