This month my team is Unsung Heroes.

This means that ministry this month for us is free. It is not structured, we do not have a contact. This month, we are responsible to scour the country for new people to connect with AIM. We are ‘preparing the way’ and finding places for future teams to come work/stay at in Honduras. It’s an awesome space to just follow where we feel the Holy Spirit is leading us.

This month began with PVT (Parent Vision Trip). It is a week when the parents of racers are able to join us on the field for a week of ministry.

PVT for us looks like all of the racers that have a parent or parents coming for PVT are at the same ministry for the beginning of the month. All of the other racers, without parents at PVT, continue on in combined teams to different ministries until those at PVT are able to join.

Team En Fuego- those of us not at PVT- is staying at La Corazon de Cristo for this week. The contacts here are Gracie and Papi Lee. The ministry is for women and children that are victims of rape and incest. It is the only ministry in this country that is for this purpose.

When we were told that we are going to be with Gracie for the week, one of the first things we were told was that she was an AIM favorite. The is no question in my mind as to why. Gracie’s heart is huge! She has been working with The World Race for 3 years. She and Papi Lee have seen over 500 racers!

Gracie knows just about everyone in the state. I have seen, multiple times, first hand how people run up to her and stop her in the street just to talk to her. Her love for Christ is outstanding. Her love for the mission the Lord has given her is amazing. She exudes the Love of the Father wherever she goes.

Gracie has taken it upon herself to help En Fuego get some unsung contacts before we leave her. It has been crazy. The second day that we were here, we got two contacts, and had a meeting for a third set up the next day. She is awesome and has been a ginormous help to our team.

When you see

and
forever in Honduras and in the future
we are
