Friends!
I am $500 away from being able to launch!! That is amazing!! On Friday morning, I still needed $2350! God is good ALL the time and ALL the time my God is GOOD!!
After church this morning, I ended up talking and sticking around church for 30 minutes after I first said that I was leaving. 30 minutes. I think that I told everybody that I talked to, repeatedly, that ‘okay I really am going now’.
On my way out of church- I was like- ‘Okay God. I know that You had a reason for me to stay after church and not go home right away… Would you let me see why?” (I believe that nothing is by coincidence. God orchestrates any and everything. Each detail of our lives. I also firmly believe that it is a huge blessing to us when God reveals why He does what He does. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SEEING IT!!)
On my way home, I passed a pretty large church that had just finished their service. On Haywood road- traffic was bad. Standstill bad. Enough to have policemen outside the church exit, directing traffic.
As I was in this vehicular mess, I decided to roll down my window. *On a side note, it rained earlier this morning and it was stormy looking outside- not great roll-down-the-window weather.* A lady gets beside me in the left lane. *Now that I think of it, I don’t know where she came from… She was playing some music pretty loudly, so I turn off my music to listen to what she is playing.
*I honestly, am not normally a creeper like that. Haha, promise.*
Anyways, I had never heard what she was listening to… she apparently liked different music than me. I doubt she listens to Disney music all the time like I do :)) At first, I was like- this is weird. This is really weird. It was like a person was singing on a microphone to an audience…
“The Devil thought he had me…
The Devil thought he had me…
The Devil thought he had me…
…
He thought by now I’d given up.”
AND I SAW IT. I saw the reason- at least one (I also believe that God has a plethora of reasons for everything that He does. So, many perspectives on how and why He does what He does)- that He let me finally leave church when He did.
He let me leave church that late so I could get in this traffic. He let me get caught in the traffic so I would be open to roll my window down (if I was stopped, the wind agitating my hair wouldn’t be an issue). He let me roll my window down so I could hear this woman’s music. He let me hear her music so I would be a creeper and turn my music off to listen. He let me turn my music off so I COULD HEAR THE SONG. He let me hear the song so I WOULD BE ENCOURAGED!
So much has happened in my journey that I see as attacks from the enemy. Unsupportive/discouraging family, money not coming in, not being able to work as much as I’m able to… but no matter what happens, GOD IS THE VICTOR!!!
I LOVE SEEING GOD AT WORK!!
He is active, He works all around us, we have to actively be looking.
I love you all!
