We. Are. Ambassadors.
This is truth that God impressed on me in a MAJOR way when I first signed up for the Race.
Christians are Ambassadors for God. We represent Christ to the world.
I will be an Ambassador not only for God, but for my church family/supporters in Greenville too.
At church on Sunday, Chris talked about Christians being AMBASSADORS for Christ:
First, it was EXACTLY what I needed to hear- God knew that. God had our lead pastor speak on that just for me. It was total and complete affirmation of what God had been telling me at the start of my journey. Soo encouraging.
Second, it was EXACTLY when I needed to hear it. I’d not forgotten about that but, after a tiring week of work and bouts of feeling sorry for myself for all that I’ll miss in eleven months, the thought was pushed to the back of my head.
We are Ambassadors for Christ. No matter where we are. Gas station, McDonald’s, Wal-mart, Oklahoma, or Trinidad. Local or Abroad. To one person or Millions. Christ is KING. We represent the KING of KINGS. What an AWEsome responsibility!

“Therefore, we are AMBASSADORS for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to GOD.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

As His ambassadors, we want the world to be reconciled to God.
“God kindly draws people into a reconciled relationship with Him, and He entrusts the previously hopeless enemy with the appeal to be reconciled to God.”
God forgives the person while he is a sinner. He makes the sinner belong and because of that, he chooses to join the kingdom- he chooses to reconcile to God.
You don’t have to reconcile to belong, you want to reconcile because you belong.
Wow. Mind Blown.
All I have to say is:
GOD IS SOOO GOOD!
