In a nutshell…
I was born in Maine. I moved to Greenville, SC when I was 3 and I’ve been here since. I’m 25.
There are six kids in my family: 3 boys and 3 girls- we are the Brady Bunch without the Alice. **if you don’t know what I am talking about, then we are not in the same generation haha
I went to the Bob Jones school system for 17 years. Kindergarten through college. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting.
After college, I moved to NC and then back to SC.
Boom. That is that. Me in a nutshell.

- My favorite color is blue. It is what I wear the most often. It is the color that people are like, ‘Ashley, that is your color!’- you know what I mean. AND it is the color of my family for the next year!! L squad!! #represent
- I was born in Maine yet I hate seafood. Weird, huh? I have made myself eat salmon, because it is a super food. :)) Side note: Copper River Grille has the best salmon ever!
- I am a huge people person! I love to talk, and I definitely get my energy from others! haha, one time I met this guy for the first time. He looked at me and said, ‘I just think that you are so exhausting! You don’t ever stop’
- I love bright colors. Neons, hot pinks, etc. Apparently, there is an app in which you paint pictures of people. This girl told me that if she had to paint me, she would use bright colors and glitter- like Lisa Frank– that is what she would paint me as. Lisa Frank would be another generational thing, lol.
- I love the outdoors. I like to run. I love sports and outdoor games. I played paintball most Saturdays when I was growing up. I’m not a spectacular athlete or anything. I’m 6’1, so I look like I’d be a lot better at some sports than I actually am.
- I love to shop! I’m always looking for a deal :)) Yes, I am one of those people that do Black Friday shopping! Although… it’s starting before Friday now… They are totally taking the fun out of Black Friday.
- I am a super competitive person. Like seriously. I will fight you if you interrupt my longest road in The Settlers of Catan. haha, but seriously, I am super competitive- it shouldn’t be legal!
- I LOVE movies! Netflix is awesome, but so HORRIBLE at the same time! Curses to that ‘play next episode’ button!! I love like any movie in the world with a good plot. I HATE horror movies. They scare me and I don’t think that there is a good one.
- I’ve secretly ALWAYS wanted to be a Disney princess!! I doubt that it was actually secret though, haha. I can sing you a song from any Disney movie that I’ve seen. Ohh yeahhhh, I’m THAT girl. At 25, I still go on road trips blasting Disney music and belting out the words. And while we are on singing, I totally sing in the shower. The shower head makes a fabulous microphone/audience.
- I’ve never been on a mission trip outside of the country. In fact, the only mission trip that I’ve been on was to New York City. This mission trip: One small step for God, one giant leap for Ashley.
- I love to do crafts. I love to color. I love to paint. I love to woodburn. I love to crochet. I love to scrapbook. I am a left-handed person- so, I am in my right mind. lol. I hate to write.
- My minor in college- until they changed it so minors were not needed- was English. When I talk to someone, I am mentally checking everything they say through my grammar filter. I correct people’s grammar when they speak all the time, I’m working on not doing that as much. Apparently, people don’t like to be corrected and interrupted… fancy that!!
- I have a huge sweet tooth. Actually, I think that I have 7.5 sweet teeth. I love ice cream and m&ms. Bring them to me, and I love you for life!
- I am a verbal processor. I need to talk stuff through all the time to be able to comprehend it all. A lot of people say that I overanalyze.
- I love to laugh and I love to make people laugh. I had a coworker say to me once that she thinks I have the gift of laughter. When people talk to me I always make them smile. I don’t know how true that is, but I like the sound of it.
- I am bossy and stubborn. Character flaws. We all have them. Thank God they don’t define us.
- I am so super excited to be going to training camp this Saturday, I can’t contain it!! I am SO excited to be launching to serve God around the world in 5 weeks, I can’t explain it!
I feel like I hit a good bit of insider information to let you know who this crazy Ashley girl is, but let me know if there is more I need to divulge.
