Hey everyone!
Thank you for all the prayers and support. I have been in the Philippines for a week now and it has been such a blessing to be here. We are currently staying with a organization called Kids International Ministry’s in Manila. We will be staying with them until October 3rd then we will be leaving for Tacloban, Philippines until the end of November. Tacloban was hit by the typhoon last November and there was a lot of devastation there so we will be working there and doing a lot of building projects.
The Philippines is so hot like wow! I don’t think I’ve ever sweat more in my life it’s kind crazy. It’s also 12 hour time difference from my home in Massachusetts so it’s hard be able to talk to family and friends back home when you always get wifi around 3pm when everyone back home is sleeping at 3am.
Being here has been awesome! We have a great place were staying at. So that means no tents. Yay! The Filipino people are truly great and I enjoy getting to know them. I’m currently working at the pregnancy center here and I absolutely love it. I’m also working at the nursery at the orphanage and working with the kids in the orphanage. Thank you everyone for the prayers! Please continue to pray for my squad and I. More updates to come another day 🙂
