This is our camp for tonight
Let’s try this again…I accidentally deleted my first blog so excuse my lack of grammar/writing skill as I scribible down what I can remember ha. Anyway….now for an update!!!!
On the World Race you travel as a squad…so I am proud to announce that all 43 members are in Mozambique!!!! We left the US Wednesday, had a ten hour layover in Istanbul, Turkey then flew into South Africa. From there, we traveled by bus into Mozambique and all of us stayed at an organization house called Beacon of Hope. This morning we left two teams at Beacon of Hope and sent three others off to different ministry hosts. My team and team Deep Wells are staying in Maputo until Monday and will be partnering with Africa on Fire.
Africa on Fire began five years ago as a church planting group in South Africa. They focus on home visits and outreach to local villages, they plan on building 12 orphanages (2 are already built).
We plan on leaving for Chiputo on Monday and will stay for a week there then will visit other local villages. During this month we will be doing house visits, local outreach, and crusades (not sure how the last will pan out but I’m excited).
Please pray for God to use us this month to speak a message of love and hope to those around us. I feel God’s peace over everything and am eager to see how He will move throughout this month. Please pray for us to love those around us and be completely surrounded to God’s movement.
