God has been so gracious and loving in His provision of my World Race funds. I currently have about $9,000 pledged to come in… which is almost 60% of what I need in total! All of which has been raised in about three months – only God could be so powerful.
I still need about $6,500 in order to be allowed to spend all 11 months on the Race. If you haven't already donated and would like to, please click "Support Me" under the fundraising bar at the top of my page.
Or if you know if anyone who might be interested in supporting me/hearing more about my adventure/praying for me, please tell them about me and share my blog!
I would also LOVE any and all references to contacts I could reach out to. God has already provided so much, and now I need your help in spreading the word so that I can raise the last 40%!!!
Sometime in late July I am planning on throwing a gigantic BBQ fundraiser which will include car washing, a yard sale, yummy food, games, competitions, music, and face painting for the little kiddies.
And in all seriousness I am considering standing on a street corner with friends at some point this summer with a huge sign that says "Missions Fund Raising!" and see what relationships/opportunities God throws my way, we well as donations from strangers that might come in. (I've got $6,500 left to raise, I'm willing to put myself our there and do crazy things in the name of Jesus.)
I am also still selling tshirts! I have an order of shirts coming in for those who pre-ordered, but I also ordered extra. They are $22 so please contact me if you're interested! (A special shout-out and thanks to Sean Miller for his generous donation to help diminish my out of pocket expense!)
Right now, I stand in awe of all that God has provided. Not only with fundraising, but in the blessings and opportunities He has continuously provided me in my life thus far. I truly cannot wait to continue serving Him and going where He calls me this upcoming year on the crazy thing called World Race. Please consider helping support me on this journey!
