My name is Ariana Godwin but everyone calls me Ari (R•E). I am 21 years old turning 22 in June. I am originally from Central Florida where I was raised by my two very loving and supportive parents but have lived in Jacksonville the past four years. I will be graduating December 7th from the University of North Florida (Swoop!) with a degree in Health Science. Instead of taking the more traditional route after college the Lord has called me to embark on this 11 month trip, where our number one mission is to Love. This love will entail working in orphanages, ministering to women and children who are trapped in prostitution, sharing an encouraging word to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ around the world, or just a simple presentation of the Fathers love for us through the Gospel.

1. I am very quiet until you get to know me. I hate having attention on me.
2. I still use a GPS to get home from college after 4 years
3. I HATE doing dishes
4. I ran and completed my first full marathon in January (I don’t recommend it)
5. I am known to watch the same movies and episodes repeatedly sometimes multiple times in a day
6. I just started playing guitar
7. I absolutely love Sunflowers and therefore love the color yellow
8. I plan to live in Africa once I complete the race
9. I was a Division 1 athlete for two years until I decided on an early retirement
10. I lived in Kenya for 2 months during the summer of 2011
11. I am more obsessed over names than actual people
12. I am somewhat of a Hippie when it comes to the environment
13. I prefer to sleep on the couch or floor more than my bed
14. Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday and yes I am single
15. I sleep with a stuffed animal zebra named zebediah, nickname:zeb
16. If it was nutritionally possible I would eat cereal for every meal, every day
17. Favorite Disney movie of all time is Toy Story!
18. I LOVE to be barefoot and do so as much as I can
19. I have never seen snow
20. It’s embarrassing how little geography I know. If I were to give an example you might judge me, so if you’re on my team I’m sure you’ll find out soon enough
21. I’m a vegan except when it comes to cake
