In short, we are a group of people who daily die to ourselves through sacrifice for others. Through this we gain new life from our Heavenly Father as remarkable people living in the Kingdom. A life of intentional love and sacrifice is our aim; therefore, new life and joy comes off us as a strong vibe to change the atmosphere around us.
Drastic team change took place a few weeks ago…meaning the 7 existing teams were completely rearranged to form 7 vibrant new teams. Nothing was wrong with our old teams. In fact, our old teams were strong and incredible. However, changing the teams has brought us new people to sharpen us and to challenge us. There’s something to be gained in being with new people.
Where does that put me? Team leader of Phoenix Vibe! (Are you laughing? Because I was.) I have 5 incredible people who I now make sure aren’t lost in airports, get fed, and have at least a floor to sleep on. I should mention that I’m responsible for spiritual growth and empowering them as well. It’s a great challenge, and I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
Hilarious. Passionate. Selfless. Intentional. Joyful. Loving. Peacemakers. That’s how I’d describe my new family. I can’t believe I get to spend the remaining 4 months with these incredibly gifted people. Check out their blogs. They have awesome stories from the race and incredible testimonies. I’m in love with them, and I’m sure you will be too.
