Meet Team Rhema

Annie
Annie is the fearless leader of Team Rhema.  She is originally from Kansas City, and just finished working for a wedding cake designer in New York City.  She is full of hope, joy, and a strong desire to follow wherever God is leading her.

Andy is from Bend, Oregon.  He spends most of life outdoors hiking, skiing, camping, climbing – you name it.  He has worked for the Forest Service, local ski lodge, a fishing boat in Alaska, and Outward Bound.  Andy has a ton of experience that I’m sure we can use this next year.  He also has a passion to see our team grow strong together. 

Allison

What joy and love this girl has!  She lives in Florida and enjoys the beach and flip flops for sure.  She is full of life and loves every curveball and adventure that it throws her – both literal and figurative!  Last year she went on a DTS with YWAM.  She spent 3 months training in Maui and 3 months serving in Bangladesh.  She has a true servant’s heart. 

Bethany

Here’s a girl with a sense of humor!  One of my first memories with her is sharing bad cheesy jokes at training!  Bethany just graduated from Northern Arizona University.  She has an incredible prayer life, and I’m hoping that she will encourage me to grow in mine.  She also has a very tender and beautiful heart!

Bill

Bill has been involved with missions for quite awhile.  He’s been on mission trips to Romania, Mozambique, Costa Rica, the Philippines, and South Africa.  He now works at his alma mater, the University of Georgia, for the Wesley Foundation and is very involved in the campus art ministries and mission trips.  He is also full of life and joy that is contagious! 

Celeste
I already know that Celeste and I are going to be close…she’s a barista at Starbucks!  This Georgia girl is also very passionate about life and missions.  She spent a year as a missionary in Vietnam empowering them to care for and minister to their own people.  She is incredibly in-tune with the Holy Spirit and will challenge all of us to go to that intimate of a level as well. 

Rhema is a greek word that means “spoken word of God.”  We believe that God’s word is ALIVE and living within us. We see ourselves as temporal jars of clay full of the eternal word of God.  We also believe that we are going to many nations to reveal God’s spoken word and to speak life into those we meet.
