Next click “Create My Portfolio”

Type in your first name, last name, user name (example: first name initial, middle name initial, last name, current year = pbiwanaga10), and password (make up any password with a number like "jesusrules1")

Select the option “continue” to finish setting up your profile (write down the website address, your login and password so you can come back to this site)

On the left side of the page, click “SKILLS (English or Spanish)”, then click “Select Skills”

If you put your cursor over any skill, a screen tip will appear with a brief description (or click “Skill Definitions” at bottom)

You must rate your skills (top 5 skills, next 10 skills, and as many of the next 20 skills as possible) by clicking to highlight a skill, then clicking the “Very” button to move it to that category

Once you are done rating your skills, click “Rate Skills” and click “Save” in the upper right corner

On the next screen type today’s date (mm/dd/yy) and click “Save Information”, then click “Restore Answers”

At the top of the page, you can click “Occupational Clusters” or click “All Occupations” to see how you rated for any occupation based on your skill set

At the top of the page, you can click on the “Top 30 Occupations” to view the highest rated occupations to see if there are any occupations you may have never considered. If you find an occupation you like, you need to click “Save”, then “Save Information”, then hit “Back” twice on the browser to return back to the “Top 30 Occupations” list

In the future, if you ever want to view your saved occupations, click on “My Portfolio” at the top-right of the screen, then “My CIS Favorites”, then click “Occupations” or “SKILLS
