These Khmer (pronounced Khemy) people are some of the most happy and loving people I have ever met. I don't know what it is about them but, the Lord gives me great joy being with them.
This is Piset (sp?) he is 7 years old and cannot walk or talk. My heart breaks for him, he is such a joyous boy and just has so much life in his eyes. If his parents would just work out his legs a little bit each day, he would be able to eventually walk but instead they hand him over to his grandmother and he lays down on a wooden bed most of his life. When he is home his parents tie his writst to the house so he cannot go anywhere. I love him so much and I know that God is going to use me, to reach Piset and his family while I am here as well as when I am gone.
I don't think this photo needs any meaningful caption. =D

Adorable!

Above- huts constructed after the government took over the land where they were living in the city to help modernize the capitol. (The government did not build them, they only gave these people a blue tarp and said here is your home.)

I could get used to this sunset everyday.
Women of the village joining together to hear the Word of God and the good news of Jesus Christ! 🙂
The man is our contact Thy venn ( such a bro!)
Praying for Piset!
So I have a minor obsession with Khmer children, they are all so adorable!!!
I did not really understand what it ment when people would say that God "broke their heart" for a person or a group of people. Well, now I know! Their is so much oppression here but, yet still so much hope! Its people like you supporting me to be on this trip that allows God to work through me to give them the hope of Christ in their lives and just love on them! I am still $4,000 away from reaching my final deadline, God has more to do in my heart on the rest of this journey but I need your help! I hope that you want to be a part of this journey with me and join my support team.
