What seemed like a lifetime is finally a reality! I am leaving to begin my 11-month, 11-country mission trip at 3am tomorrow. The crazy life of a World Racer is starting! During training camp as well as my sessions at launch, I was broken of so much that I dearly wanted to hold on to. I wanted to forget my past and yet that was the same thing that was holding me back. God continued to whisper that He wanted all of me. I am still not sure what that looks like, but what I do know is that God is on my side and despite all the junk that I still have to work through, He is my number one fan and wants me to succeed 100%. I am not going on this trip because I think I am perfect. I am going because I am more broken than I have ever been in my life and I am so hungry for Gods never-ending love: the love that He has for all His children. I do not feel ready for this next year and all the brokenness and hard things I will have to see and do. The amazing part of it all, though, is that I get to be the hands and feet of Jesus and spread His love throughout the 11 countries to which I will be traveling. I will be tested and tried over and over again and will need God in ways I never even imagined but He will be there. He is ALWAYS there desperately wanting us to want Him.

I cannot fully express my emotions about this whole thing, but what I do know is that my squad and I have the power of Jesus within each of us and are ready to take on the nations! We cannot do this alone and I am ever so thankful for all the supporters I have, but it is not done yet! I am still roughly $7,000 away from my final deadline and I would love for you to be a part of this adventure with me. There are 2 VERY simple ways to support me: 1) You can click the “support me” tab to the left and make an online donation (beware there is a transaction fee,) or 2) You can make a check out to Adventures in Missions with MY NAME in the memo line and send it to:

Put on the full armor of God: Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
~Ephesians 6:11,14-18
