Ok so I have been away for a while and there have been some changes y'all should know about. The big one is my route change. Yep, new launch date, new familia, and yes, even new countries (some of em). I'm still going and doing everything I keep talking about though… My heart hasn't changed, just the details. My new countries btw are Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania instead of Haiti, DR, and Puerto Rico, and China instead of the Philippines, and I leave Jan '14 now instead of Sept '13. So my itinerary as of now is Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda (as of right now these 3 countries are not an option due to security issues. We are hoping and praying they clear up for us to be able to go. If not, we will have 3 other countries in their place.), Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, China, Cambodia, Thailand, India, and Nepal, and we will leave New Years day or shortly after.
I have have an idea for a t-shirt design. I am working on the details for producing it and I will start selling them shortly. I know several people have shown interest in buyin one. Also, mom is hosting a jewelry party at las mas Thursday 8/29 at 6:30 in my honor. If you are interested in this and have any questions let me know. On the subject of money, I have opted to take the team insurance and have it added to my total amount making it a grand total of $16,285, not $15,500 due July 1, 2014. I finally figured out the status bar for my funds so everyone can see where I am at. I will try my best to update it often. Work is crazy right now and I can't promise I'll get online more than once or twice a week on bad weeks.
Thank you everyone for all your support, and a special shout out to the ROOTS ministry. They who have no job and no money, have given many times more than they have pledged. Just seeing the generous hearts of all those teens is really encouraging. Y'all have blessed me more than words can say. Also thank you everyone praying for me and my race. I really appreciate it.
