It’s late. I should probably be packing or sleeping as we are leaving SCH tomorrow. I’ve been trying not to think about it. It seems so surreal. Didn’t we just get here? That’s what it feels like! I wasn’t expecting this month to whirl by so quickly!
I’m not ready to move on to Nepal…not when my heart has totally been captivated by this incredible country with its rich culture and beautiful people.
I LOVE INDIA!
There are so many reasons why I’ve loved this month, but here are some highlights:
SCH is an incredible ministry with such servant hearted staff
All of the kids we’ve been loving on are so amazing and they have taught me so much about loving well. I love them all!
Spending time with my little girl, Michele – she’s stolen my heart!
Our amazing cooks are so much fun and have introduced us to many new Indian dishes
We went to Passion Conference which was a super encouraging night
Chai! Chai! CHAI!!
My team is so encouraging and supportive and teaches me more about Jesus’ love every day
Crazy mattress adventures!
Indian clothing is brightly coloured and so beautiful

I got to ride a camel
(There’s SO much more!)
This month has also been hard.
We’ve had to fight through sickness to be present in ministry.
We’ve had to fight for team time and ignore distractions.
We’ve had to fight for each other and the strengthening of our relationships.
But it’s been worth it. So worth it.
This journey is unbelievable. Each day holds the potential for learning and growth.
Each day presents new challenges and obstacles to overcome. Each day I’m reminded that I can’t do this by myself. I’m not made to do this alone.
Each day, I’m reminded in a myriad of ways, the amazing love of the Father.
It’s humbling.
It’s hard to comprehend.
It’s life changing.
And I know there’s plenty more ahead! I’m ready and expectant for what’s upcoming in Nepal!
Thank you everyone for all of your support! I love hearing from you! <3
