This month, the raw beauty of my team has captured me.

I’m seeing their hearts and the way they selflessly give of themselves, and it’s beautiful. We’ve been together for over two months now, and even though I thought I knew them before, I’m realising that there’s still so much more!

This month has been a little tougher. The honeymoon phase is over, there’s been some more sickness and we are learning what it is like to be in close-knit community where nothing is a secret and there’s no escape!

Still, this has been a month where I’ve seen my teammates rise above the difficulties and continue to pursue Jesus.

No matter the struggle.

No matter the sacrifice.

No matter the cost.

Their eyes are fixed on Jesus.

And not the glamourous Jesus, but the one described in Philippians 2.

They’re striving to be examples of love and grace. They’re teaching me what it means to be a follower of Christ and how to live that on a daily basis.

No, they’re not perfect. None of us are. And no, I’m not going to say that it’s easy living together ALL the time (because it’s not) but I’m so encouraged by each one of them. I am so blessed to be doing life with these women.
