Haha, good question. I am currently in the North Island of New Zealand in a city called Tauranga. The city does not seem different from any town in the U.S. except that people drive on the left side of the road and they have little round-abouts for every turn you take. What are we doing?? Whew! God has placed us here for such a time as this and we are excited for what He is doing in the nation of New Zealand
Four teams have been united to form a group of 24 warriors who are fighting for God’s glory to break out over New Zealand. We are honored to be part of the leg work of a conference called Call to All. This is a conference put on by Youth with a Mission (or YWAM). So you would think that we would be doing logistics every day from morning til night to prepare. But God knows what His children need and He has provided. Every morning from 8 to noon we meet in a church called Change Point and we press into Jesus. We sing, journal, there is music that plays and something in us is beginning to change as we realize the importance of praising our Lord. It is called House of Prayer and the premise of it comes from the knowledge that the Lord inhabits the praises of His people!
We taped plastic together to protect the map from the field we are standing in. And on all the evenings of the conference we will unfold the 1200 pound map and people will stand in that place and learn about God and His heart for us as His people. There will be changes that happen in them because of the experience of seeing the world laid out before their eyes and we are excited to see God do His thing! As we wait for change for New Zealand, our hearts are being transformed! Our lips are learning to praise His name like we haven’t before and we are captivated by Him! My team leader had it laid on her heart to fast and pray before the conference begins. So we will be pressing into the heart of Jesus, asking what He is saying, and realizing the depth of our need for Him. May His name be lifted high and glorified!
