6:30- about to go through security when Jules and I realize we have full water bottles
6:31- chug full water bottle
6:33- get stomach ache from chugging full water bottle
6:35- TSA agent asks if Jules and I are together #nowearejustfriends
6:45- through security. The compliments on my New Years hat begin
7:00- camped out at our gate, call the extended fam to wish them happy New Years
7:25- go on a quest for dinner
7:37- success #lastmeal
8:30- back at the gate ready to board
9:05- on the plane
9:05- it’s the fanciest plane
9:05- there are pillows and blankets
9:06- so many movies
9:08- take Happy New Years picture just in case we aren’t awake at midnight.
9:15- start watching Hunger Games
9:40- fall asleep
12:00- wake up to people yelling Happy New Year
12:03- fall back asleep
Everything after this point is kind of a blur. I know at some point we are meals. And at some point I stayed awake long enough to watch ghostbusters. But other than that I was in a travel induced coma.
4:45pm- Land in Istanbul. It is freezing. We unload the plane on the runway then get on a bus to go to the terminal.
4:56- arrive at terminal and wait for rest of the squad
5:07- use fancy big screens to find our gate and begin our trek all the way to the other side of the airport.
5:30- camp out at our gate. Let the stretching and bananagrams begin.
