So I’ve been meaning to do a shoutout post for a while. Shoutouts are severely overdue so here goes.
Shoutout to those who have donated!
You da bomb.
No seriously. You’re the best. Give yourself a high five because you are awesome. You are making it possible for me to walk forward in God’s will for my life. Any serving that I do on my Race, you will have had a hand in. Any time I am on a plane, or eating, or have a roof over my head it will have been you that has helped provide that. I am so thankful for each and every one of you. I know that God is going to bless you as you have blessed me.
Shoutout to those who have helped with fundraisers!
To the ones who got me tailoring work by referring entire bridal parties to me. To those who have called me up and said “hey so I have this suit…” or “hey I’m getting married can you alter my dress?”. To those who have liked and shared my posts on Instagram and facebook. Those who adopted boxes, had holes in their pants, and who shouted across rooms that I had mugs for sale. To my church for giving me permission to sell mugs at service and to those who were appreciative enough of puns to buy them. It may seem like small stuff but each thing is a step that takes me closer to launch and closer to this amazing journey.
Shoutout to those who have supported me as a person!
To those who have prayed. The ones who ask how things are going. Who freaked out with me when I got accepted. Those who have listened to me freak out. Who helped me write my fundraising letter and checked my grammar. Those who have sat with me when I was discouraged and said “you’re going to make it.”. Those who remind me of God’s faithfulness and how He is going to provide. Who tell me to stand on my promises and believe that He is going to make a way where there seems to be no time or resources. Who sit and talk with me about what it’s going to be like and provide advice. Who help me troubleshoot things like toiletries in third world countries and what the heck that’s going to be like. It takes a village to send a girl around the world and I have the most amazing village. Whenever I have felt like I was in this by myself and there was no way I could ever get it all done before launch, you guys have been there pushing me forward.
And finally
Shoutout to God!
For placing all of you in my life. For being constant and faithful. For having grace when I get anxious and or calling me to this journey in the first place.

Training camp will be here before we know it! Aug is right around the corner and so is my first deadline. As of right now I have raised almost half of the $5000 I need to attend training camp. The deadline is July 22nd which is 8 weeks away. Doing the math that means raising about $312 per week. So if you are able buy a mug! Get your pants hemmed! Adopt a box! Or whatever the Lord leads you to do. Above all be praying for me through this process!

-Time management and continued creativity for fundraisers
