As I sit here and reflect over the past year, I am struck with an important question. What is the point of life? For me, because I am a Christian, the sole point of my life is to show every single person I can Christ’s love. That’s it. After our life here on Earth, we go where? For eternity. Our life is so fleeting, and that is becoming evident to me. This year flew by faster than ever expected, and I am inspired to be even bolder in my faith and love even better. For many we come into contact with, maybe in the grocery store or at school, we might not have enough time to share the whole gospel or tell our testimony. However, we do have time to smile and ask “how are you?”. This little phrase can open up a world of responses, and even if they don’t tell you their life story or ask for help and prayer, I guarantee they will walk away with a pleasant reminder that there are still those people in the world who genuinely care. This is a small way of spreading God’s love. Of course there are many little, simple ways to do this, like having a pack of food and toothpaste and a toothbrush in your car for someone sitting on the curb in need of food or money, or paying for the person behind you in the Starbucks drive through. Then, there are the big sacrifices we make to help others. I don’t know about you, but this year one of my New Years Goals is to try to love everyone I come into contact with to the best of my ability.
