My name is Annie Heathorn.

I was born and raised in Danville, CA with my three younger brothers and older sister.
.
I've never really been able to express this to them, but I love them all so much it hurts sometimes.
I would do anything for my family.

(Sharon and her husband Brian, Reed, Me, Brett, and Scott)

These are my two best friends who have walked with me through every stage of life.

At the time that I am writing this, I am a senior at UCLA with five weeks left of college.
I love it here and am sad to leave.

I love running in the mornings with my very first college friend, Alicia.

I love the sophomore girls in my bible study.
The 9 of them and Cati Wuest, my co-leader, are the high-light of my week.

(Kaylee, me and megan)

I live in Westwood with six incredibly talented and incredibly inspiring roommates.
Each one is so different, but we have a lot of fun together.

I bike everywhere.
I love the way the wind blows through my hair going downhill. I love not having to park. I love passing people as they walk. Plus I love how biking saves the air and money on gas.

Things that are old capture my heart.

Big bodies of water, especially lakes, quiet my soul like nothing else.

Every morning I have a cup of chai tea with a dash of milk and spoonful of honey.

I love adventures and am addicted to trying new things.

I love mornings and think sunrises are a hundred times better than sunsets.

My Grandma is my hero.

Coral Tree is my favorite cafe, and will sit there for all day having Jesus time.

For the life of me, I cant stay awake in movies and or finish books.

A handwritten note is my most cherished gift.

I love train rides and airplane rides. But I hate driving.

I love going barefoot,

sunflowers.

farmers markets.

 music concerts, especially Bon Iver,

board games,

chemistry,

and family dinners.

I love the feeling of sunshine on my skin,

sketching portraits,

 climbing on things,

the sensation of boarding down a snow-covered mountain,

But most of all, I love Jesus.

I love how gentle he is with me.
How he understands my heart.
How he meets me every time I look for him.
That he notices those that are overlooked, and fights for those that are helpless.
How he cares about people's hearts.
I love his artistic style, the colors he uses in sunsets, the melodies of his grace.
I love that he lifts weights of people and carries them himself,
that he is incredibly patient, and knows exactly what to say.
I love that he is light-hearted.
I love how he disciplines me because he wants me to be free,
How he is rooting for me, defends me, teaches me, greets me in the morning, walks with me through the day, and cries with me.

I love how he has changed me.

I want to be just like him one day.
