So here I am in Washington D.C at launch along with 57 other people in my squad all ready and excited to GO! Here are some details for anyone who's not really sure about somethings:
1. I am traveling with my squad to each country but I will not always be with everyone, I have a team of 6 women including myself. We will be living in community and serving in ministry together. They are all AMAZING women of God and I cannot wait to grow in fellowship and to make many memories with them.
2. Our first country is Costa Rica, we will be flying out of D.C at noon on friday, to Dallas for a lay-over and then to C.R. When we get there a bus will pick us up to take us to our ministry site. We will be together with 3 others teams from our squad in the same ministry and living together in a house. The other teams are scattered abroad in other villages or towns working with other ministries.
3. I have $9446.00 in my World Race account and I need to get to $11,000 by middle of March and I need to be fully-funded, (15,500), by the beginning of June. If you feel led to give please click on the support link on the lefthand side of my blog page and follow the steps.
4. I will have internet access for the first month so there will probably be regular updates on my blog so feel free to follow me regularly. 5. last but not least I would LOVE to see a sloth in Costa Rica 🙂
