Hey friends! My name is Anne, and I will be on the September 2015 route 2 for the World Race! Here are some fun facts about me:
- I have lived in the Acworth/Kennesaw area my whole life.
- I just graduated with a degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University! Go Owls!
- I’m 23 and it’s dope.
- I basically just want to tell people about the love of Jesus for the rest of my life.
- I love kids.
- I currently work for a nonprofit organization that shares the gospel in elementary schools! It’s pretty nifty.
- I’m really great at dancing awkwardly.
- Mexican food is by far my favorite. Zaxby’s is also very nom.
- Journaling is my JAM.
- Transparency is also my jam! I want to know all about what the Lord’s doing in your heart!
- I sing sometimes. Let’s be friends and I’ll sing you a tune.
- I have the coolest best buddies in the world.
- I have held a million dollars before (for like a second.)
- My favorite book of the Bible is Ephesians. Psalms come in a close second (because they’re so EMOTIONALLY REAL!)
- I’m not really a sports gal (and by not really, I mean I’m definitely not).
- I’m currently listening to Pentatonix’s Christmas album. Do yourself a favor and go check it out.
- Belly laughs are important, and should happen daily.
- I have Celiac disease, which means I can’t eat gluten. It’s super fun and challenging!
- If it never got below 50 degrees, I’d be okay.
- I’m a loud extroverted hugger. I’m not sorry about it.
- The Lord is teaching me a lot about being brave. Comfort zones are lame and He has called us to such an extravagant, abundant life!
I am constantly asking the Lord, “what’s next?” and I believe that He has so obviously opened the door for me to go on the World Race next year. I am so seriously pumped to bravely begin this next season with Jesus! He is daily transforming me to look more like Him, and He is choosing to use the World Race to do that. He is faithful and good even when I’m not. He loves me when I am unlovable. He is worthy of all of my praise and that is why I’m choosing to be brave for Him!
