Hello! My name is Annaka, and I am so glad you found my blog!

In September I left for The World Race, a Christian mission trip to 11 countries in 11 months. This blog is the best place for you to support me, contact me, receive updates, and see what God is doing through our trip!

I will also be posting pictures on Instagram at WeltyRaces if you would like to follow along there as well.

My route and country order:

Uganda

Rwanda

Service projects/issues we’ll likely to be involved in include:

Sex trafficking (working with victims and prevention)-my route is heavily tied to this issue

HIV/AIDS

Rebuilding communities that were affected by the LRA (Uganda) or the Rwanda genocides

Working with orphanages

Engaging street youth to find them food and shelter

Visiting widows and orphans

Fighting poverty

Slum ministry 

And more.
