So, after a 3 hour bus ride, going through customs, walking over a mile across the border from Cambodia to Thailand with all of my gear, a 4 hour van ride from the border to Bangkok, an hour and a half long ride in the back of a sketchy open van with my team from WYWAM to the bus station, and a 12 hour bus ride from Bangkok to Nang Khai, Team Uplift is officially at the ministry site!
We are at a house in Nang Khai a pretty rural area about a 10 minute drive away from the border of Laos. As of right now, I don’t have much information as far as what exactly we will be doing here, but we have wifi, plenty of fans, beds, and a washing machine, so we’re pretty much livin’ the life. The only thing I’m worried about are snakes… which they’ve apparently had issues with before
My plan is to only be using wifi during our ministry days if I have a blog or picture to post, or if I have to keep up with some of the remaining girls on the squad who are still fundraising, so you may not be hearing from me directly quite as much this month, but I will still be posting blogs twice a week.
