Have I ever bragged about my squad to you? Many of you, reading this, will say “yes, too much.” Well, that’s because I just have the most amazing squad I could ever imagine. S Squad’s motto is “S SQUAD, BEST SQUAD”… and we learned early on, at training camp, that this was absolutely true. My squad is so full of excitement and love for the L0rd. They yearn to learn more about Him and be more like Him. We love and encourage one another, and we laugh and goof off with one another. A day with us looks like a day full of adventure, laughter, worsh!p, coffee and J*sus. An entire month with us in one home is the exact same thing.
All of this is important because this past month in Nepal, I was asked to help out this awesome squad by being S Squad’s Support Coach. This essentially means that I get to help many of my squad mates fundraise while overseas. This is insane to me… Just a year ago, I was freaking out about raising $17,017. It’s so intimidating, but now I’m done. I’m so blessed to be fully funded, and now I get to help many of my squad mates experience the same feeling!
Right now, we’re focusing on eight ladies who still need to reach the $13,000 deadline: Klancy, Sara, Danielle, Quinn, Courtney, Linsey, Janibel and Jessica. For the past week we have been making goals to get them through this deadline by the end of this month, and the amazing thing is that three of them (and maybe more) are ALREADY past the deadline after just one week. The L0rd has been M O V I N G this week, and I’m just totally blown away!
