Here I am, 2/3 of the way through the Race.

Our squad just had our Month 7 debrief – the last debrief before our FINAL debrief at the end of the Race – and we had…

TEAM CHANGES!

Meet my new team:

RAISING THE BAR

(aka RTB!)

to indicate our desire to call each other up into our full potential in the Lord

I have the new and exciting privilege of leading these women for the next four months as we finish our Race together! I am very encouraged by this group of women. We are ready to work together and see what the Lord has in store! It feels very much that as a squad we are entering a new season on the Race and that these final FOUR months will bring more life and opportunity than we have yet seen.

MONTH 8: We are currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

This month our team’s ministry is called Unsung Heroes (aka UH). This is a special opportunity to connect and network with people, churches, and organizations in the area that are working to further the Kingdom of God and are many times unrecognized. We want to acknowledge the impact of their ministry, encourage their work, and assess if they would be a good fit for hosting a future World Race team. Essentially, we’re finding Christians in Malaysia that need support and connecting them to AIM for potential partnerships! This ministry looks very different than any other month on the Race. We have no set host or schedule, so we are working together as a team to listen to the Lord and depend on Him to guide us.

Ministry, team, & personal prayer requests:

 – direction, discernment, and sensitivity to meet the people and travel to the locations the Lord has willed

 – the strength and willingness to be bold and speak up in uncomfortable or unfamiliar situations

 – spiritual protection: we are in a country where it is illegal to convert the Malay people. That is not our ministry goal, yet we need to be careful how we present ourselves as “missionaries.”

 – we all spend intentional time together as a team and learn each others’ strengths so that the Lord can knit us together for His work

 – that my heart stays sensitive to the Lord’s heart and that I continue in the process of SURRENDER. I feel Him drawing me out deeper in His waters and I ask for prayer for boldness and strength to keep surrendering.

Thanks for your encouragement and support!

In His hands,

Anna
