Sweet friends,

this blog is coming to you all the way from India! We left Manila two days ago and have been traveling on and off ever since.

The Philippines was an incredibly trying month for me and my team, but overall, my squad loved it. We stayed in a children's home and were there practically 24/7. it was exhausting, but by the end, we grew to love the girls we were staying with, and could tell they loved us right back! Hopefully soon I'll be able to give you a more in-depth recap…but for now, let me tell you what we're doing in India!

My team will be working in a village this month, living at the local church. We're working with an organization called India Christian Ministries (ICM). They have labored faithfully, spreading of the gospel throughout the state of Ahndra Pradesh, and by 2020 they hope to have a church planted in every village. I am so excited to be working with this ministry and for the opportunity to share the gospel with people who have NEVER before heard the name of Jesus.

Right now, we're at an ICM base, waiting for our contacts to come retrieve us. From here, we'll head on to our village! I'm excited to be using my tent for the month and to “rough it” for the first time since we left the states! We're a little concerned about what our hygiene will look like this month (there may be one or two “western toilets” in all of India, and neither of them is located in a village.) so prayers are appreciated!

Please continue to pray for my funding. By the end of this month, we're expected to be fully funded. I have about $2,000 to go, thanks to my gracious God and my generous supporters! I will probably not have access to internet this month, so please be praying with me that He will provide despite my inability to communicate back home. If you feel led to donate, please click the “Support me!” button on the side of my blog!

Thank you for all of your support, dear readers! I am so grateful for you.
