Your glory God is what our hearts long for…..
How faithful is the Lord! I want to share this amazing testimony of the Father’s sweet love and provision….
Fundraising $16,255 can be a percievably daunting task- especially when trying to do that while on the mission field! It is easy to get distracted and discouraged in the midst of it all. As a squad, we have continued to pray for one another in those efforts to reach the final goal. Last week, my team came together to really invest and spend some time praying and asking for financial provision.
We gave Him thanks that we are His daughters and that means we have full access to all of His gifts. We thanked Him that we belong to Him and that we don’t have to beg- we have a free seat at the table! We praised Him that he is bigger than any amount of money, stress, or worry. We specifically asked Him to provide for us in a way that could only be attributed to His love and care for us, strictly to glorify His power.
The next morning, we went into the city for our off day- as soon as we began checking our accounts, every one of us had a sizable donation to our account!! The money was flowing in!! In a moment of pure humaness, I held my breath as my support account page began to load. I was overjoyed at how the Lord so clearly came through for my teammates, but I almost expected that was enough… that I would check my account and nothing would have changed.
How blessed are we that He is so much bigger than our expectations 🙂 My jaw hit the floor when the page finally appeared… someone had annonymously donated the exact amount I needed to be fully funded! The EXACT amount!! I see you, Jesus! Just like we had pleaded, He showed up for us in a way that has no other explanation than His complete soverignty and goodness!
What a beautiful reminder that He is a God who answers our prayers.. He sees us and hears us and will always provide for us. I stand in absolute awe of our good, good Father 🙂
I am so grateful for each and every one of you who played a part in making this calling a reality. All the prayers, sweet words, and sacrifical donations have made this journey a life changing experience. My heart jumps with joy as I reflect on all the Lord has done through you and with you and me!! As I think ahead to all the ways He will continue to use us, I just thank you for allowing Him to work through you and for your willingness and obedience to take part in what He is doing to move the nations!
