This is our last full day in our host family’s home. I can’t believe we are already saying goodbye. I’m quickly realizing that good-byes will be constant on the world race. Our team has said good-bye so many times to different people we have been working with and have grown to love. Good-byes are tough but I thank God for giving me the opportunity to meet these wonderful people and if we don’t meet again on earth I can’t wait to see them in heaven. I am a blessed woman. It’s still hard to believe I’m actually doing this. I’m actually here on the world race. Am I really ready for this? Am I really ready to leave my family for 11 months? It will be hard and it will not always be easy but God has a purpose. I know God is going to do amazing things through our team. I see my team growing everyday as a team and as individuals. This is a gift from God to see. Thank you everyone for keeping Lovesick514 and this softball ministry in your prayers. God showed up! So many kids and young adults came out and heard the gospel. Not only did they hear the gospel but they saw something different in us. They saw joy in us and they felt Gods love pouring into them. Most of the kids, young adults and people helping us with the camp have never felt love. Nobody has ever shown them love and they have no clue what real joy is. As we get ready for 43-hour train ride to Romania tomorrow my heart is still broken for East Ukraine. God showed up and the people are hungry. Please continue to keep East Ukraine & this softball ministry in your prayers. Ukraine is broken and only God can heal! Please keep our host family in your prayers. This is a precious family that we all feel apart of now. They have shown us nothing but love and have gone above and beyond. We will miss them so much. Also please be praying for our Romania mission. It sounds like we will be doing some of everything there but we will know more when we get there. Please pray we give it all to God and don’t hold anything back in Romania. Thank you so much for being so encouraging to me! God has used you to bless me in so many ways! I love you all and will be saying Hello from Romania soon!
