Hello everyone!! I just want to say thank you to everyone for praying for me and supporting me! I left Myrtle Beach Airport at 7:15am on Wed (with a pack that weighed 44.5lbs) and we arrived in the Ukraine on Thursday. We stayed the night in an hostel checked out of the hostel around noon, walked (forever it felt like) to the train station with internal frame and day packs on (i realize i packed way too much and will be going through my stuff soon! lol) , hung out at the train station for hours waiting on our 7pm train, spent 13 hours on the train and now we finally arrived at our host families home! One other team traveled with us to this city but they are with another host family and will be doing another ministry. Our team will be helping with softball clinics for kids / youth. We will travel to different cities for a week at time then come back to our host families house for the weekend. Thats all we know right now. We just got in a few hours ago and were blessed with an awesome meal (first since the states)!!! Please continue to pray for our team as we start ministry soon!!
