This past week was messy and hard. I don’t feel up to blogging because, I don’t know what to write.
I feel I am still crawling toward light at the end of the tunnel. This fundraising thing has been overwhelmingly demanding at times, and it has taken more effort than I ever imagined. Other things have been neglected because of it, which has created messy drawers, neglected emails and texts, and procrastinated business demands. These things drive me crazy.
But God. He reminds me that He’s not pushing me away even though I didn’t make time for Him. He offers me second chances, always. He reaches His hand down to pull me up, and then sets me back onto the Rock where I belong. How grateful I am.
Also, as I am wrapping up my first official fundraiser, I am awed at the provision of God through you and everyone who supported my chicken pie sales. Thank you so, so much. I am about $800 away from my first fundraise goal of $3900, which is due on Friday, the 25th of this month. So, if God is moving you to make a donation and calling you to partner with me on this trip, now is as good a time as any to make that move.
