At the butt-crack of dawn Saturday morning I said good-bye to Canada for 11 months. I flew to Atlanta, Georgia were we had some more training, and worship. We officially left for Cambodia at 7 am on Tuesday morning. After about 40 hours of travel, from Atlanta, to Dallas, to LA, and China, we will finally land in Cambodia. Launch is all about preparing us for living life in a bunch of different countries, and to do effective ministry.

My team, Boldly Present is very excited to begin ministry together, and have talked a lot about how we can really live out our team name, in being bold in every situation we are in, and being “absently present”, so that we can be totally focused on every situation that we are in. For our first month in Cambodia, our team will be living in Siem Reap on weekends and living in a smaller village through the week.

Just a very short introduction to my team who will be my family for the next year. (You will hear lots about them later!!)
