Wow!!! Three and a half months back on American soil where has the time gone. (It’s time for a blog) I returned and hit the ground running… my mom came to spend time with me here in Charleston
AND a few short days later I moved in with the family I nanny for and started watching the kids.
Shortly after that I was hired part time at TCBY.
Than BSF (Bible study fellowship) started for the year I’m not only attending BSF but also I was invited into leadership as a Children’s leader.
And after that I started the first of the last six of my graduate classes.
Life is busy!!!
And the busier i get the harder I have to fight for my time with God!
I went from recovering from Jet lag to getting over sleepless nights to getting back into the groove of life in America and filling up my schedule.
Thankfully the transition back hasn’t been as difficult in most aspects as I expected and it hasn’t been perfectly easy either.
There have definitely been expectations that I have for the return that haven’t been met and maybe never will be.
GOD is FAITHFUL!!
I am thankful for the family and friends who I have been able to spend time connecting with since I’ve been back.
I rejoice daily as I look at all the God has provided since I’ve returned:
He HAS provided:
A place to live
A fun part-time job filled with Christian co-workers
A church (with specifically everything I had been praying for)
Discipleship
A great small group
A group of children to share God’s love with
And I know there’s only more and more greatness to come from OUR God who is Faithful!
Thank you so very much faithful prayer partners, supporters, friends, family, and strangers for coming alongside me in my World Race journey. My World Race is over but my adventure with God is Far from over…
(Stay tuned for my recap video and potentially a new blog)
With Blessings,
Anna
