Today as I was working on a Bible study in 2 Kings about Elisha I was reminded of how great it has been to spend these two months in Africa. The topic of the devotional is Coincidence.  In the passage we see the return of the Shunammite woman whose son was raised from the dead by Elisha in 2 Kings 4. The woman decides to return to Israel as a result of a famine. When she returns to see the king she walks in at the very moment that Elisha?s assistant Gehazi was telling the king how her son was raised from the dead. That moment of ridiculous coincidence led the king to give the woman her land back. (YOUVERSION: Elisha: a story of Ridiculous Coincidence)

This  month working in Jeffrey's Bay (JBay), South Africa we are an answer to prayer at a horse farm who's owner "Coincidently" was connected with our hosts for the month.  Hilmary's full time co-worker moved away just a few months ago and has no full time help.  This month we  were able assist Hilmary by helping with lessons, Vallory our more experienced equestrian was able to lead outrides,  we cleaned paddocks, fed, kept the water buckets filled, and painted fence posts and served in any other way needed.

It's been a blessing and not a coincidence but God's perfect timing in bringing us to exactly where HE wants us. His plans are always greater.

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. (Proverbs 16:9 NIV)
