You know that feeling you get when you read a verse that sparks a party of goose bumps all over your body? It somehow relates to your life in so many ways at the exact time you read it, and you know that God totally led you to it on purpose. Well here is the verse that caused this little fiesta for me:

Hebrews 13:2

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for in so doing, some have unwittingly entertained angels.

I loved it. I grabbed the journal next to me to jot it down, but paused to admire what I held in my hands. This journal was extra special because it was a gift from my sister, and the verse I just read was going to be the first entry to break it in. The cover holds precious moments in pictures, and inspiring quotes dance on the spine and back cover. I was smiling as I looked over this thoughtful gift, and then something caught my eye, and I might as well have turned into a goosebump at this point.

On the back cover at the bottom of the journal there was one last inscription: Hebrews 13:2. I didn’t even have to write it down! God, in His humor, had already led my sister to that verse and gave her the same little fiesta I had felt, which caused her to include it on the gift she gave to me.

This beautiful gift seemed to get just a little bit sweeter.

I felt led to share this story with y’all because God has been placing amazing people on my path throughout this journey. With each encounter He is confirming His call for me. I am so incredibly excited for what is to come, and I can not begin to imagine the beautiful angels I will have the privilege of meeting throughout the course of next year.

With that being said, I need your help! My first financial deadline is approaching fast. I have to have $3,900 in my account by September 25th (I am only $700 away!) Please consider making a contribution- any amount would be so incredibly appreciated. The simplest way to donate is to use the “Support Me” link on the left!

Together, with your help, we will have the opportunity to bring others to Jesus, and I have no doubt that we can make a difference around the world!

Thank you for reading, have a super blessed labor day weekend
