“That dream is impossible.” “That will never happen.” “You won’t have the discipline do to that.”
“MY DREAMS ARE IMPOSSIBLE!”
Who has heard all of these things? How many of you have been told these very things by people from your family or friends? I have! I have dreamed impossible dreams. I have dreamed dreams that are too big for me! And I have been discouraged and believed what others have told me, that these dreams are impossible and I will never accomplish them. But what I have come to realize is that with God ALL DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE! I don’t want to believe in a God who is limited! I want to believe in a God of possibilities! So I am dreaming big! I am going to dream and see what God can do with it, and you know what he is already starting to work!!! I am done holding back! I am done keeping quiet! I am ready to tell the world my dreams and see how it all works out!
DREAM #1
I want to travel the world and see Christ work! Well CHECK THAT OFF THE LIST!!!! I am on the World Race, watching God not only working in the lives of people everywhere, but also working in my own life! Its been a dream come true, literally, and I know that this is just the beginning!
DREAM #2
I want to help children stuck in bad situations. I want to create a home for children who are not accepted anywhere else. You can call it a foster home if you want, but I want to call it a Home of Love. I want to build a large house, have lots of kids, and teach them what it means to have structure, to have someone who will fight for them, and have someone who will LOVE them. I want to take in kids who are in the foster system and are hard to place because of behavioral issues that have really been caused by a lack of structure and nurturing care, and give them some healthy stability.
DREAM #3
I want to help free women/girls from sex trafficking. I want to see this horrible industry broken and I want to give these girls freedom and hope. I want to help them transition from the horrors they lived and learn that they are children of God and that he loves them with a fiery passion. I want to help them understand their story and allow them a safe and loving environment to work through that. I want to see the chains of bondage snapped in half, and I want to see justice in this world. I want there to be awareness in the world of what is happening to the women, and I want something big to happen that will CHANGE THE WORLD FOR THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD!
DREAM #4
I want to publish a book that will change someone’s life. Whether that be one person, or a generation like Harry Potter changed our generation. Either way I want to use the gift that God has given me and share it with others.
DREAM #5
I want to learn how to play the cello…… thats it, I just really want to learn how to play the cello.
DREAM #6
I want to go to Romania. When I was 14 years Old I felt God calling me to work with orphans in Romania. It has been my goal to reach that place and see what God has for me there. Maybe our route will change on the Race and I’ll go there…….. no pressure CARLY…… no pressure…..
DREAM #7, The dream to end all dreams. The dream that I dream and desire more than anything.
I want a family. I want a husband who will be my perfect match. Who will love me well but love Christ more. I want to have my OWN CHILD. It is my biggest dream to give birth to my own flesh and blood. I fear that I may not be able to, but I know that God gives us the desires of our hearts, and JESUS I WANT A CHILD. I think adoption is amazing and incredible and I would like to adopt as well, but my biggest dream is to be pregnant, and create a perfect human being who will be part of me, and all of me, and everything to me.
I never want to be afraid to dream again! I never want to doubt God and doubt the desires of my heart! And I want to encourage you all to do the same!
