Man this has been a whirlwind of a month!! At the end of March I was supposed to return to work for my job on the Disney Cruise Line, but with my fundraising going so well, a new and better job offer here at home I decided my time with Disney was over and I embarked on a new adventure of becoming a nanny, and working even harder on my fundraising here at home! God has been so good to me, I feel like the best times of my life were always the times when I had to make a last minute snap decision and things happened so fast, but those were the times that I was rewarded greatly because I had to take a blind faith and just leap, knowing that God was taking care of it!!
I think that is was this journey of the World Race is about, total and complete faith and trust that God is in control and taking care of things!! And he has!! I now have $2,233 in donations, that’s only $1,267 away from my first goal of $3500!!! how good he is! I have loved getting to know my fellow team members and am so excited to spend the next year with them!! Its still hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that I’m leaving in a little over 3 months!!!! Wow!! I have a lot to do, but its okay it’ll all come together, I know it will!
