Hello! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Anna Cox! I am so excited to step forth on this big journey that is ahead of me. I just need your help to get there!! I have always loved to travel but ever since my first mission trip to El Salvador, the combination of traveling AND serving has helped me find my passion showing me what I want to do with my life…help, serve, travel, see the world, and spread God’s love.
I have really seen God work in my life for the past 3 years. Going into high school I didn’t really have my own faith and didn’t really care or see an issue with it. Then I went on my trip to El Salvador the summer going into sophomore year. After hearing all the amazing stories about how God worked in these peoples lives, I wanted a story of my own. I started getting more involved with my church and found amazing new friends who pushed me to be a better person and challenge me in my faith. My mom found the World Race online and she immediately thought of me. I read about it and watched the videos and knew that this is what God wanted me to do.
I have been on missions trips to El Salvador, Guatemala, and Kenya
I’m 17 and will be graduating in December 2015
I live with my mom, dad, and younger brother Conover who will be a sophomore in high school
I was born in Georgia, moved to South Carolina for 6 years, lived in California for 4 years, and have lived in Indiana now for 6 years
I love to paint
Boxing is my thing (shout out 9round)
I have always wanted to be on the show Survivor
My favorite food is donuts
Coffee is a necessity
Being outdoors and being adventurous is a huge interest of mine
I shot 4 deer last fall break…you could say I’m a pro
