We landed safely in Guatemala Thursday and drove through the night to our ministry site. Woohoo! Yesterday we learned more about the ministry we’re working with and today we got to know the city a little better. Random fun fact: I walked by the spot where all of the bananas from Guatemala are shipped. So all of those Starbucks bananas from Chiquita that say Guatemala have come through this city. Amazing!

We are staying at a house they have just rented and are hoping to buy. The house is pretty spacious and holds so much potential for future ministry. There are 3 World Race teams here as well as a group from YWAM. And a group from Mexico arrives next week. So many people! It’s fantastic! I’m having a crash course in Spanish. So far I barely know enough to be dangerous. Give me a few weeks, though.
