Today we started our session with some great worship. I love starting the day this way! We had some great speakers. There were a few things that really stuck with me. Pursue love and spiritual gifts. God is not a God of chaos, but of order. The biggest hurdle you will encounter is yourself. Very good things to remember in general, but especially in this coming year! Later in the day we had a meeting with just our squad. We found out some pretty big news. We’re not going to Bulgaria first. We’re going to Honduras first! So EXCITED! Our countries will be the same, most likely, just the route has changed. So here is the new order by continent: Central America, Eastern Europe, Asia, East Africa. We get to end in AFRICA! Ahhhh! So PUMPED! This is truly the route God wants me to be on – bookends of the places I have felt called to for many years! Along with this we found out that we will be with our entire squad this first month. I am so happy about this. I love my squad, and I am so glad that I will have this month to get to know everyone better! What a blessing! The final thing we learned was that we will be leaving tonight at midnight! We’ll take a bus to New York, then a plane to Costa Rica. From there we’ll take another bus to Nicaragua, and stay a night there in a hostel. Then the next day drive the rest of the way to Honduras. So prayers for safety in our travels would be wonderful. It’s gettin’ seriously real! I can’t wait to start this crazy journey!
