Dear family, friends, and strangers reading Anna Beth’s blog,

This blog was not written by Anna Beth, but by the other members of her team. As Team Joyful Fortitude, we have been with AB since day one of her World Race journey. We have gotten to see her grow and serve the Lord in India, Nepal, Vietnam, and Cambodia. We wanted to take a moment to share with you how we have seen God moving in and through Anna Beth’s life before we are placed on our new teams!

Allison: Anna Beth is such an important part of our team. She always strives for authenticity and clarity. This was shone when we were in Vietnam teaching English as she had such patience to make sure the students, young and old alike, understood pronunciation and questions she asked. She also places such value on relationships that she will stop her day to talk to people on the street. She has a heart for God and his kingdom, and isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions. She has grown so much in boldness and confidence as she shares God’s love with the people she encounters.

Linsey: The world knows her has Anna Beth, I know her by one of her many alias names: AB!! AB is an encourager to our team! She is a helper. She is always ready to help in everything. She is my personal translator when no one else understand what i am saying. Since India I have seen her relinquish control of her life and shift to allowing God to lead. I admire her authenticity and her desire to teach God’s word to others. I have enjoyed her raps and openness to be herself on the team.

Jenna: Anna Beth is kind hearted, full of wisdom, and it has been a great experience being on a team with her. She has not only grown herself but helped me to grow. She has helped encourage me to walk in my identity in Christ and to be more courageous. I have loved seeing her interact so lovingly with the people we encounter. She gives them her all with sincerity. I love when she lets out a big belly laugh or breaks into spontaneous song and dance. Anna Beth is such an important part of our team and such a light for the Lord.

Janibel: Anna Beth is such a blessing to our team. She’s kind, caring, loving, and real. She is bold and filled with so much wisdom. She also does a great job at encouraging our team. I know I can come to her with anything and receive honest and godly advice. Her love for the Lord and passion for His word is truly admirable. I love seeing her interact with strangers. Anna Beth is a servant. She gets things done and is always willing to help those around her. I have seen her grow in selflessness and vulnerability. I love to see her dance. Her laughter is contagious. It has been such a blessing getting to know her. I love Anna Beth. Our team wouldn’t be the same without her!

Quinn: Anna Beth is filled with so much love and kindness. I have loved getting to live a long side her the past 4 months! Our team would not be the same without her. She is a huge prayer warrior and it has been so cool to watch her step out in that gifting. She is always willing to help you out and continually challenges you to step out of your comfort zone. She is always smiling and filled with so much joy. She does a great job of serving our host and sharing her knowledge with us. She knows her Bible and it is so cool to see how she continually seeks after the Lord. With her arms and mouth wide open she embraces everyone! I have loved having her on my team and getting to call her my friend! The Lord has so much in store for her.

Hillary: Anna Beth has been my friend and home team member from the start. Her authenticity, wisdom and kindness for people is admirable. She does ministry with boldness, grace, and an “all in” mentality. You can rely on her with a lesson plan or you can look to her as she consistently pursues relationships with the people we meet along our journey. One time she literally built a friendship with a woman on the streets of Cambodia and that is not surprising because thats just what AB does. She has been a joy to be on a team with and she has spoken huge amounts of truth into my life as she also tenderly cares for me when I need it. She is the kind of friend everyone needs in their life and the kind of person that people in these countries are lucky to encounter.

Thank you to each person who has supported Anna Beth on this journey through prayer, encouragement, and donations. Our team would be lacking without her presence. Thanks to you all, Anna Beth has reached her fundraising goal of $17,017 and we are all so grateful that you have been able to partner with her.

Much love,

The Joyfuls
