Below are some picture of where we stayed during our celebration of the Khmer New Year last week. We had flashbacks to our childhood days of playing in tree houses & watching the Swiss Family Robinson 🙂
We only stayed here one night & were able to leave. The people in this village live in these conditions on a daily basis. They dont know anything different.
AND YET
They are so joyful, hospitable, & content…
Talk about conviction!!!
Please pray that my heart will be filled with compassion for these people rather than finding comfort in the fact that I dont have to live there permanately.
Please pray that I will find contentment in my identity in Christ Jesus alone rather than my circumstances.
Please pray for the salvation of Cambodia. May the peoples eyes be opened to gift of a relationship with God, who provides all our NEEDS & loves us so unconditionally!! 🙂
