So just an update about what has been happening as my squad prepares to finish the last three months of the World Race in Eastern Europe.
1) I have loved Northern Ireland/Ireland yet am ready to move on and finish out the race well.
2) There have been team changes again. While I am sad to say my team leader for the past 8 months (Jacob) will be going home we are all wishing him the very best and are all proud to call him a fellow racer, teammate, and friend.
3) Due to a lot of shuffling on other teams besides my own I am now with a new set of teammates/friends and am looking forward to working with this new team. My team leader now is Eric ( who also happens to be from Portland) and our new team is called the Last Battle (because we are all wanting to fight to finish this race well, we’re down to our last few months, and its a general nod to Lewis/Narnia).
4) There has been a final route change and our last three countries should be as follows: Moldova, Romania, and Albania. We should all be arriving back in the US on July 31st.
5) Please pray for my new team as we begin working in Moldova. We will be doing Unsung Heroes (second time for some of us). As I may have mentioned before this means we have no set ministry and will be spending time looking for new contacts for AIM/World Race to work with.
