So the pictures pretty much say it all but I just want to share a little of what I’m doing this month as well. We are currently in Coleraine, Northern Ireland (which is the UK) not to be confused with the Republic of Ireland. We are working with a Vineyard church doing anything from sorting clothes (for their second hand clothing store), prayer walks, volunteering in their children’s ministries on Sunday, handing out leaflets about their upcoming Easter service and anything else they need. Their model is to reach as many people as they can in their community. Bottom line this church realized they were becoming too inward focused so they now insist that every ministry they have/do  be willing and open to growing and including new people on a daily and weekly basis. At this point their church is seeing over 50 people come to Christ a week.  God is at work here and it is showing. So to summarize what else I’m loving here: cooler weather (a lot like Oregon), very friendly people, amazing landscapes (see below), and the opportunity to see God work in ways I haven’t yet witnessed.

1) St. Patrick’s church in Coleraine

2) Town hall/center of Coleraine

3) Christ’s church in Castlerock (a 15 minute train ride from Coleraine)

4) The land in the distance is the Republic of Ireland

5) Taking a break on our walk around Castlerock. We were generously helped and guided by a Coleraine local (Paul) who one of my teammates met at St. Patrick’s church (he volunteers there). Karen and Rachel are the other two next to me.

6) and 7) Some of the beauty we saw on our hike in Castlerock

8) Downhill estate which is now in ruins and is currently hosting flocks of sheep

9) Just another beautiful area near the Downhill estate
