This brief bio is for my teammates and anyone else who comes across this and does not know me at this point.

I was born in India and adopted when I was a few months old. When they adopted me my parents were living in MN. We then moved to WA for a couple years before settling in OR which is where I grew up. I am the youngest of four (we are all adopted). My oldest brother is from Columbia and my other brother and sister are from South Korea.

I love the way God brought my family together and am glad to say I love them and am supported and loved by them.

Looking at my life so far I see God's hand from my fragile days in India until now. I was raised in a Christian home, came to actually understand and seek the Lord at age 12ish and really made my faith my own in college and beyond.

As a child (and still today) I love to read and have often been drawn to read about matters involving the difficulties and suffering of others. These subjects include the holocaust, the civil rights movement, as well as the stories of abuse victims and issues related to criminal justice.

In college I studied psychology and counseling. I have always had an interest in justice issues and have worked with crime victims (as a victim advocate) on and off during the past ten years.

Through personal study and face to face contact with hurting people my relationship with God has had its ups and downs. I guess it still does though He's always graciously holding on to me no matter what questions or doubts I argue with Him about. All this to say in good times and challenging times I know my only hope is found in Christ.

I look forward to meeting you (my squad) soon and will share more about what God has been doing in my life these last few years and how that brought me to the World Race.
