“I’m leaving on a jet plane”…and all that….finally!! Today I start the adventure of a life time and I could not be more excited to begin this journey. For everyone who has supported me on this World Race Adventure…

I love you all and will have my Blackberry Tour (global phone) everywhere I go this year. I will be able to e-mail: [email protected] and I’ll be on Facebook updating status’ and pictures. Of COURSE, I will be updating this blog ALL THE TIME, so don’t worry…you’ll all be in the know, all the time. I have raised $15,000…CRAAAAZY, HUH?!?! This has gone to completing my WR $14,300 fund, as well as the $600 for vaccinations that I had to get.
For those of you who are wondering what I’m taking on this crazy trek…the answer is a 80 liter pack, a school-sized carry on backpack, and a purse. THAT’S ALL, for a year. I know, I know…you’re impressed. 😉 I fly to LAX at 3PM today, where I will meet most of my Squad (half of them are already down in Antigua, Guatemala prepping) and we’ll leave at midnight tonight for LATIN AMERICA!!! I can’t wait to get down to our first country, Guatemala, and start ministry.

Yes. Yes, it is. This is really happening. I’m so heartbroken to leave my family, boyfriend, best friend, friends and family at church…but I know that the next 11 months will FLY BY and I will be completely transformed into the woman of God I am destined to be.
Please keep me in your prayers, my team: Keryn, Becca, Brandi Jo, and Cody in your prayers, and my Squad (S Squad) in your prayers. Pray that we get to Guatemala safely, pray for protection and safety. Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have against the enemy, and I need it now more than ever.
