They say that on the World Race, you should expect the unexpected.  We try.  We really do.  But sometimes life comes at us, and we get caught off guard.  That happened this week, but in an awesome way.  Most of you know that for the last six months, I have been on Team Aletheia.  And it has been cool.  In fact, I just wrote a blog about how amazing it was, and how much better next month was going to be.

Well, those things are not to come to pass.  I am no longer on Team Aletheia.  Team Aletheia is no more.  In fact, all teams on the October 2008 race have been dissolved.  New teams have been formed, and I, for one, am incredibly excited for this new opportunity.

My new team leader is Laura, an amazing young woman who has already been a great comfort to me on the Race.  She has a beautiful heart, and a patient spirit.  Not to mention a penchant for water fights… so life will certainly NOT be boring!

I got to stay with Vicki and Jeff, my former leader.  We have also been joined by Mark, formerly of Team Libre, and Sharon and Cara, who came from Hephzibah, as did Laura.

Our new team name is Banah, which is Hebrew for Restore.
