Here are the videos that my teammates made from Trujillo, Peru. It was all squad month which means there was over 50 of us living in the same place. We did VBS and taught English with different classes and games each day. We did a few manual labor projects throughout the month. We were blessed with such an amazing group of Peruvians that would hold church services for us almost every night. We celebrated la pastora’s birthday (complete with mariachi band). And it wasn’t uncommon to hear, “fiesta con gringos y Jesús” shouted in the streets before rounding up the neighborhood children! We got to hangout with the youth (who were so spirited and LOVED to sing and dance). Towards the end of the month a few people got baptized, and we had a beach day for the youth there!
